AIRVIEW VILAGE — It was a hard-played, foul-filled basketball game. Both teams had their good moments and their bad. And just about everything that coulddid happen.
That was Tuesday night’s wild Pioneer Athletic Conference girls affair between Methacton and visiting Perkiomen Valley.
The Warriors seemingly had things wrapped up with a 15-point advantage early in the fourth quarter before PV stormed all the way back to tie the score with a little more than a minute to go. But Methacton recovered to regain the lead and escaped with a 57-55 win after turning the ball over in the backcourt in the final seconds.
