FAIRVIEW VILLAGE — The much-anticipated showdown between the Pioneer Athletic Conference’s undefeated division leaders Thursday night was everything it was cracked up to be.
Methacton and visiting Pope John Paul II went right down to the wire in front of a full house with four lead changes in the final two minutes, before the Warriors scored with 11 seconds left and promptly stole the ball under the PJP basket to secure a 43-42 win.
