LOWER POTTSGROVE — It was a case of contrasting quarters Saturday.
Not that it affected the final outcome of the Spring-Ford/Pottsgrove game, which the Rams won handily by a 67-47 count. But there was a marked difference between the Rams’ numbers in the first and second stanzas of this Pioneer Athletic Conference divisional crossover matchup.
The visitors shot a solid 10-for-16 from the floor — and cleared 13 rebounds — in the first eight minutes en route to opening a double-digit (26-14) lead on the Falcons, whose corresponding numbers were considerably less. But the next eight minutes told a different story ... though SF head coach Mike Young didn’t see the impact as particularly critical.
