ABINGTON — With her team struggling out of the gate, unable to hit a basket for nearly the first five minutes of Saturday’s game, Abington guard Deja Rawls decided it was time to show why the Ghosts were the higher seed entering their first district playoff game.
Rawls, a sophomore, knocked down a pair of three-pointers and scored14 of her team’s first 19 points en route to a 26-point day, leading the way for the Ghosts in a 53-42 win over Perkiomen Valley in a District 1-AAAA first round playoff game at Abington High School.
