OSSINING, N.Y. — The Spring-Ford girls basketball team won’t begin the postseason until this coming Saturday, when the Rams play host to Upper Perkiomen in a Pioneer Athletic Conference Final Four semifinal.
Saturday afternoon, however, the Rams officially pronounced themselves in playoff mode.
Senior forward Sarah Payonk scored a career-high 21 points to lead a balanced attack as Spring-Ford came away with a huge 81-65 non-league road victory over New York power Ossining.
