BUCKTOWN — Owen J. Roberts quarterback Jarrad Pinelli and split end Matt Raymond weren’t just on the same page with each other on Friday night, they seemed to be able to read each other’s minds.
Pinelli and Raymond hooked up for four touchdown passes — tying the Pioneer Athletic Conference single-game record — and the Wildcats overcame a quick Upper Perkiomen score to start the game to rally for a 49-21 victory over the Indians.
“The game plan was to use the run to set up the pass, and we were able to bring their safeties up allowing Raymond to get open,” Pinelli said. “Raymond and I have had a good relationship all season. I had to rely on him a little more tonight, but it all worked out.”
Worked out may be an understatement.
Raymond only had four receptions on the night, but each one resulted in a big-yardage score.
