Pottsgrove-Pottstown Game Suspended

POTTSTOWN — Lightning struck on the opening kickoff, when Pottstown’s Denzel Harvey zigged, zagged and lit up the field for an 82-yard return and early 6-0 lead.
Lightning struck again when Mother Nature zigged, zagged and lit up the horizon just moments before Pottstown and visiting Pottsgrove were set to kick off the second half.
Unfortunately, the real stuff didn’t go away Friday night. Officials waited for more than an hour before making the decision to postpone the game, then agreed to resume play at 10 a.m. today.
