Page through the Owen J. Roberts history book and you’ll get a week’s worth of reading about the program’s storied running game.
From Dennis Laws in 1970 all the way up to Ryan Brumfield in 2010, not to mention a few handfuls of other greats in between, have been the backs who carried the football to record lengths and Wildcat teams to eight Ches-Mont League and four Pioneer Athletic Conference championships.
Passing hasn’t been, as they say, OJR’s forté.
Which makes current quarterback Jarrad Pinelli an anomaly.
