COLLEGE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK  ...  By Don Seeley

Every week we recap how all area graduates fared in their respective college football games from the previous weekend, and you can read all about them in our Tuesday print editions as well as on our website at www.pottsmerc.com.
Beginning today, and every Thursday throughout the football season, right here on Mercury Sports Live, we'll be selecting a Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Shippensburg junior quarterback Zach Zulli (Perkiomen Valley), who completed 26 of 38 passes for 392 yards and four touchdowns in the Red Raiders' 38-28 upset of Division II's No. 19 ranked Shepherd. The 392 yards were a career-high for Zulli, and the third-best performance in Shippensburg history.

Honorable Mention: Ursinus defensive back Matt Glowacki (Spring-Ford), who had 15 tackles - which earns a "wow" from the crowd alone - and a 20-yard kickoff return in helping the visiting Bears come from behind and beat The College of New Jersey last Friday night.
